I started my journey with ******************** and ****************** without a full understanding of the depth and value of services they provide. I knew that they were not a typical executive recruiting firm but did not know of the personal development journey that I would embark upon while I was working to find the next great opportunity that was for me. At a point of frustration with my job search, I realized I needed professional assistance. I came up on Browning Associates by chance online. I made a call to the number I saw listed and left a message. The return call came shortly after, and from there began the journey with Browning Associates. I met with Wayne who was kind and encouraging with the introductions to the company’s operations. With the Administrative things out the way, the meeting with President John was enlightening. The discussion focusing the importance of smart networking for success. Then came the line-up of the remarkable persons for my personalized service. Emily prepared my resume and did a great job capturing all the key details succinctly. It flowed well with my accomplishments as standouts. Katy covered the details of LinkedIn, patiently guiding me through effective search process for my target companies and key persons in my field of interest. In addition, Katy was amazing at teaching me how to customize my resume for the different job opportunities. Special appreciation for Katy’s willingness to assist with reviews of my customized resumes at short notice and even on weekends so I was ready to submit as the timing required. Then there is Jerry, my coach. The Personal Branding exercise and role playing to build my confidence to speak about my value, purpose and effectiveness were at another level. I became more comfortable with speaking about myself, aligning my strengths, experience and more so my personal conviction with the value I can bring to businesses. In our weekly meetings, Jerry was patient and diligently guided me through building my network.
